full-time Join the Banner Day Camp Team! Banner Day Camp, one of Chicagoland's premier and most respected summer camps, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our administrative team. This year-round position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. We are looking for a candidate with bookkeeping and/or accounting experience who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a collaborative office environment. Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset are essential. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems Track and reconcile income and expenses Record and process financial transactions Document transaction details and maintain supporting records Assist with payroll tracking and related reporting Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support financial reporting and administrative projects as needed Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters Qualifications & Skills Prior bookkeeping and/or accounting experience required Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Self-starter with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills Professional, friendly, and team-oriented approach Leadership experience is a plus Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Work Schedule This is an in-person, on-site position based in our Lake Forest office.
