Job Description
Summary We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our clients' financial data. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of supporting nonprofit organizations in achieving their goals. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients. Prepare and process invoices and payments. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals. Generate financial reports and statements for review by management and clients. Utilize financial software tools to streamline bookkeeping processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks. Requirements Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within the nonprofit sector is preferred. Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using financial software such as QuickBooks, Stripe, and Authorize.net. Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Familiarity with governmental and public accounting practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
