This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure financial accuracy, proper recordkeeping, and compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping Functions. Perform daily bookkeeping activities, including accurate data entry, account coding, and transaction posting Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries, including adjustments and accruals Assist with month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Track, organize, and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies Accounts Payable & Financial CoordinationProcess and track vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and coding Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment posting and discrepancy resolution Facilitate the flow of financial information between the Finance team and medical billing departmentReconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies Reporting & Administrative Support Support the Finance Director with internal financial reporting, analysis, and documentation Maintain organized financial files to support audit readiness and compliance Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring Carry out additional finance and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience Strong understanding of:

General ledger functions Basic accounting principles (debits/credits) Account reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and data organization), Word, and general office software Experience with accounting or practice management software preferred Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Experience:
Experience in healthcare, medical billing, or multi-location organizations Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable processes and financial reporting cycles
