Job Description

Summary Performs independent and semi-independent accounting and administrative tasks primarily concerning client budgeting and support, Recreation Department support, and Finance Department support. Daily and/or weekly schedule may vary and be subject to flexible work hours due to scheduled or non-scheduled work responsibilities. Essential Functions Complete monthly review and reconciliation of client funds. Provide feedback to staff and discuss all questionable purchases and variances with supervisor. Send quarterly reports to client family and guardian upon request. Manage client TIAA retirement fund accounts. Maintain financial records of incoming and outgoing recreational fees for individuals served and follow up as needed. Receive checks or cash for Opportunity House, Inc., OH Residences, Inc. and OH Corporation and handle bank deposits as required. Manage internet and eFax accounts for all OH properties and assist with setting up client and OH owned TVs. Assist with monitoring data from OH fleet vehicles. Record monthly vehicle mileage logs and review for accuracy and discrepancies. Manage gas card profiles for new and terminated employees. Apply for new disability placards as they expire. Manage the Industrial Appraisal records and process. Maintain Aktion Club records. Manage OH Auxiliary activity. Coordinate the annual client tax returns process. Assist with AP and AR activities as needed. Monitor and if applicable, complete, annual
OH & CLF
licensing. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations/Accounting Manager, VP of Finance, or CEO/President. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to keep client and OH business information confidential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee works mostly in an office environment that is quiet to moderately loud, depending on the work area. Some local, county, or state travel may be required, including overnight stays. Employee is required to sit, use hands, stand, stoop, walk, talk, and listen while performing duties. General office equipment including personal computers, scanners, copiers, faxes, desk- and smartphones, and software programs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty pounds. Requires normal range of hearing/vision. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED.
