$50k to $60k annual salary based on experience Position Summary Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing organization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date Process and reconcile expense reports Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting as needed Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications 1-2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience Understanding of GAAP Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience managing the full accounting cycle Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale environment Experience with SAP is a plus Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
