Accounting Clerk-AP

Job DescriptionJob Description Position Summary Performs Accounts Payable (AP) transactions. Prepares reports for management and vendors as needed. This role will be required to maintain a high attention to detail and process data in a prompt and accurate manner with minimal supervision. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Print, review, match, code, and process AP invoices daily
• Review vendor statements
• Resolve invoicing discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Help to ensure that all corporate and required accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the division
• Any other duties required by management

Characteristic Duties:

• Ability to set rapport with cross-functional teams, departments, and peers by demonstrating a professional and positive work ethic
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and detail oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Perform other duties assigned with full accountability

• Strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years in an Accounts Payable role
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Strong data entry skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Strong Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI) - Syteline
• Experience in Accounts Payable in a manufacturing company Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk
• May require occasional lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
