S_175590 Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented, high-integrity Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Fort Wayne. You'll serve as the engine behind their financial operations, ensuring daily cash flow is accurate and providing management with the monthly reporting insights needed for continued growth. The ideal candidate for our client is a power user of both QuickBooks and ServiceTitan who thrives in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities:

Daily & Weekly Operations:

Process daily deposits and manage all daily payments.

Fraud Prevention:

Maintain and monitor Positive Pay systems to ensure secure transactions.

Financing Liaison:

Work closely with third-party finance companies, processing financing refunds and referral checks.

Monthly Obligations:

Execute the "10th of the Month" bill-pay cycle for vendors and manage dividend tracking.

Financial Reporting:

Generate and distribute P&L statements to management and finalize monthly financial reconciliations.

Payroll & Performance:

Calculate monthly performance bonuses based on company metrics and employee data.

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Skills:

Demonstrated ability to act as a "power user" in QuickBooks and ServiceTitan. Experience operating effectively within a fast-paced service industry environment.

Education:

No Degree Required Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

Experience:

3???5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.

Software Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks is required.

ServiceTitan:

Must have direct experience using ServiceTitan as a CRM for financial workflows.

Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of P&L management, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.

Soft Skills:
