Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support accurate payroll processing and key accounting functions while upholding the integrity, trust, and service our members expect.
Payroll ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly payroll with accuracy and compliance, including union contracts and regulatory requirementsPrepare and file quarterly and annual payroll reports (941s, W-2s, state filings, etc.)Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll questionsPartner with Human Resources to coordinate benefits-related payroll reportingMaintain accurate payroll records and documentationAccounting & General Ledger SupportReconcile daily cash receipts with funding reports and bank statementsBill insurance companies for accident-related claims, including submitting claims and following through on reimbursementRecord miscellaneous receipts and prepare recurring and adjusting journal entriesReconcile balance sheet accounts such as accruals, prepaids, and benefits payableCollaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracyQualificationsEducation & Experience

- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of payroll experienceSkills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience identifying and resolving discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
