Full Job Description Job Description:
Retina Associates, LLC is a sub-specialty ophthalmology practice devoted to diagnosing and treating diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula in the Greater Kansas City area and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking an A/R Specialist to work in our billing department. This is a Monday-Friday position based out of our Overland Park location.
Responsibilities:
Manage A/R aged over 30 days and work with insurance or patient to resolve account balance. Identify and research overpayments and initiate refunds. Assist patients with billing questions. Process credit card payments. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Computer skills. Time management skills. High level of professionalism.
