Job Description

Winfield Country Club provides a enjoyable setting where Members can spend quality time with friends and family and enjoy 18 holes of golf, swimming, family activities, and more. Winfield Country Club provides warm and memorable experiences for its Members and guests. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with accounting & bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks Online. To be successful in this role, you must possess a high degree of personal integrity, problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a member based Country Club, office environment.
  • If you're a proactive individual that likes to identify, evaluate, and improve processes then you'll love this position.
  • The Bookkeeper will verify, allocate, and post details of accounting transactions to subsidiary accounts to general ledger using QuickBooks Online Software
  • Process Bi- Weekly payroll
  • Transactions include invoicing, AR/AP, cash receipts, inventory control, account reconciliations, credit card processing & reconciliation of accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel to help us analyze a variety of data elements and reporting.
  • Work directly with our members and vendors
  • The job is to make sure our members get invoiced properly
  • You'll be an essential team member to maintain communication with vendors and members
  • Assist with other requests consistent with maintaining an efficient office environment In addition to the priority of accounting responsibilities, this position also requires help with light administrative support to the Board of Directors and office management support to maintain an efficient office environment.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • At least 3 years of accounting and finance experience required.
  • High proficiency in small business accounting and at least 3 years of QuickBooks Online is mandatory.
  • High proficiency with MSWord and Excel among a host of other programs.
  • Must be a self-starter and work well in a team atmosphere.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in entering transactions is essential.
  • Must display a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone, by e-mail, and by letter to members, corporate sponsors, and vendors.
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
