We're searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team in Broussard, LA . In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly by managing high-volume invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations. From performing three-way match validation to resolving discrepancies and supporting month-end close, your work directly impacts accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organization. What You'll Do Process and review high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail Perform three-way match (PO, receipt, invoice) to ensure proper validation Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and documentation variances Maintain accurate vendor records, including payment terms, tax documentation, and contact details Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, and wire transfers) in accordance with company procedures Monitor accounts payable aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances Reconcile vendor statements and resolve unmatched items or discrepancies Support month-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records in compliance with internal controls Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding invoice status, payments, and account inquiries Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, workflows, and system efficiency Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:
