Job Description
Back AR Specialist @ Elwood Staffing Description Receiving and verifying payment information including EOBs and ERAs Preparing and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies and executing claim follow-up with insurance carriers until paid or resolved. Secure necessary medical documentation requested by insurance carriers, patients, and/or legal representation Identify and resolve patient billing complaints Preparing, reviewing, and sending patient statements Evaluating patient's financial status and establishing budget payment plans Performing various collection actions including contacting patients by phone; correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers Posting payments from insurance companies Temp-to-Hire position Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
