This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, account reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently. Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system. Manage accounts payable inboxes and maintain electronic records. Assist with vendor setup and maintenance. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Process employee expense reports and reimbursements. Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs. Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations. Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation. Analyze financial transactions to ensure accurate reporting and coding. Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of accounts payable or accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience working directly with vendors and suppliers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred. Understanding of general accounting principles, including GAAP. Ability to learn new software systems quickly. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and lift office materials as needed.
