In this role, you will manage the firm's financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting processes, and support overall financial health. Your expertise will help maintain transparent and compliant financial operations, enabling the firm to achieve its strategic goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of accounting software and financial concepts in a fast-paced environment that values precision and integrity. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, JST Accis, and custom in-house software. Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to ensure data integrity. Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statement writing and budget analysis, supporting management decision-making. Process End of Month payments to clients Assist with governmental accounting requirements and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar systems. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Knowledge of escrow accounting practices is a plus. Ability to perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis accurately. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills; proficiency in 10 key typing is preferred.
