Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic accounting team. In this vital role, you will support the organization's financial operations by managing a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of financial data and facilitate smooth transaction processing. Duties Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Reconcile accounts on the general ledger, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis, ensuring all debits and credits are correctly posted. Manage accounts payable including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections. Assist with payroll management tasks. Perform account reconciliation tasks regularly to verify accuracy across various financial accounts. Contribute to budgeting processes by providing detailed account analysis and supporting documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in accounting roles with familiarity with in a manufacturing enviroment. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar platforms; experience with Workday or UltiPro is a plus. Knowledge of payroll management systems like ADP or Paychex; experience with Kronos is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in data entry with high accuracy using 10 key typing skills; double entry bookkeeping experience preferred. Familiarity with financial concepts including account reconciliation, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis. Excellent math skills coupled with strong attention to detail for precise account analysis and financial reporting.
