Job Description

Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper We are currently looking for an experienced accounting clerk or bookkeeper to join our company on a full time basis. This is not a remote work opportunity and all work needs to be completed on-site. The role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and General Ledger functions. The candidate must possess accurate data entry skills, recent QuickBooks experience, and 3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Responsibilities:
Review and process vendor invoices and inventory receipts Accurately enter vendor invoices Assist with vendor check runs Prepare and enter journal entries Assist with month end close Review product sales, costs, and margins Monitor and update product pricing Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Enter bank deposits Reconcile balance sheet accounts Assist with sales reconciliation and sales tax returns Assist in reconciling ledgers, reports and accounting records Prepare monthly customer statements Assist Accounting Manager with all aspects of accounting Manage multiple duties and priorities simultaneously Qualifications Associates/Bachelor's degree in Accounting Prior accounting experience required Experience with QuickBooks (2+ years) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Qualified applicants should e-mail a resume and cover letter.
