Accounts Payable Specialist

Provide essential accounts payable support for a dynamic and growing non-profit organization. Work closely with the Soldier On finance team to process invoices, verify payment approvals, and ensure timely payments to vendors. Reconcile accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. 1 year or more in accounts payable or general accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Receive, review, and process a high volume of vendor invoicing, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation prior to payment. Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and contact details. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies. Monitor outstanding balances and vendor accounts. Maintain confidentiality of financial and vendor information. Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management. Compensation Competitive salary based on experience.
