Job Description
Job Summary We are currently looking for a staff accountant at Auto Recycling company in Templeton. We require the services of a full-time accountant to process our accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconcile bank and credit card statements, reconcile monthly vendor statements, process our company payroll, manage our human resources portfolio and customer service. We have many long term employees that illustrate our commitment to our staff. Job Responsibilities:
Contact the bank to arrange an installment loan for the customer. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Perform journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting policies. Manage bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and resolving discrepancies. Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and forecast future cash needs. Assist in governmental accounting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Write detailed financial reports for internal stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations. Support private equity accounting functions, including investment tracking and reporting. Maintain proficiency in QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping and reporting.R equirements:
CPA license required. Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience in an auto recycling, salvage yard, used auto parts, or automotive business is strongly preferred. Familiarity with journal entries, debits, credits, bank reconciliation, and cash flow analysis. Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Preferably with customer service experience.
