Job Description

Accounts Payable Associate Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour

Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support daily accounts payable operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices and payment requests accurately and efficiently, maintaining vendor accounts, and providing excellent customer support to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working with high transaction volumes. Key Responsibilities Process, verify, and electronically file invoices, credits, travel & expense reports, and other payment requests into SAP with accuracy and efficiency. Review vendor statements and reconcile vendor accounts. Identify invoices requiring additional information and follow up with internal departments or external vendors to ensure timely resolution. Respond professionally to inquiries from internal and external customers via phone and email using available reporting tools. Maintain strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including account coding, approval workflows, purchasing modules, and tax rules. Execute payment runs in accordance with established accounting and banking procedures. Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to management. Manage shifting priorities to consistently meet deadlines. Additional Responsibilities Complete special projects as assigned. Perform other related duties as needed. Participate in video conferences with clients and team members when required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a related field. Working knowledge of SAP preferred. Strong math and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Accurate and efficient data entry skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volume.
