Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Location:
 Westminster, MD We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to support day-to-day accounts payable operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for processing invoices and payment requests accurately, reconciling vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies, and helping ensure timely, efficient payment processing. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, customer-focused, and comfortable working with accounting systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office tools. Key Responsibilities Process, verify, and electronically file invoices, credits, expense reports, and other payment requests in SAP with speed and accuracy. Review vendor statements and reconcile vendor accounts to maintain accurate records. Research and follow up on invoice discrepancies by partnering with internal teams and external vendors to support timely resolution. Respond professionally to vendor and internal customer inquiries by phone and email using available tools and reports. Maintain a strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including account coding, approval workflows, purchasing modules, tax rules, and payment status research. Execute payment runs in the appropriate accounting and banking systems in accordance with established procedures. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements to enhance accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Additional Responsibilities Complete special projects and other related duties as assigned. Participate in video conferences with clients and internal teams as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. One to two years of accounts payable, accounting, or related experience preferred. Working knowledge of SAP is preferred. Strong math, analytical, and data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. IND37 PeopleShare by PROMAN
