Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist |Holt, MI Salary Range:
$50,000 - $74,000 depending on experience Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for excelling in accounts payable / receivable specialist? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and proper authorization for payment. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks). Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to terms. Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on overdue accounts. Apply customer payments and resolve any payment discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliations. Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls. Certification in accounting software or relevant professional organizations (e.g., APA, ARMA).
