Job Title:
Bookkeeper - Multi-Entity (LLC Portfolio)
Reports To:
President / Owner Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of multiple LLC entities. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting the owner with clear, actionable financial insights across all business units. The ideal candidate is experienced in multi-entity accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can operate with a high level of accountability and discretion. Key Responsibilities General Bookkeeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple LLC entities Record daily transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across all entities Ensure proper coding of expenses and revenue by entity and class Accounts Payable & Receivable Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and manage payment schedules Issue customer invoices and follow up on collections as needed Maintain vendor and customer records Financial Reporting Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for each entity Consolidate financials across entities for ownership review Provide weekly cash position updates and forecasts Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues Multi-Entity & Intercompany Management Track and reconcile intercompany transactions Maintain clear separation of financials by entity while enabling consolidated visibility Assist with entity-level budgeting and expense tracking Compliance & Documentation Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documents Assist with year-end close and coordination with CPA/tax advisors Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices Owner Support & Financial Visibility Provide the owner with clear, timely financial insights to support decision-making Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects Help implement systems and processes to improve financial efficiency and accuracy Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (multi-entity experience strongly preferred) Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and reporting skills Preferred Experience Experience working with multiple LLCs, holding companies, or investment structures Familiarity with real estate, marine/charter businesses, or manufacturing environments Experience with cash flow forecasting and dashboard reporting Comfortable working directly with ownership in a high-accountability role Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monthly financials delivered within 10-15 days of month-end Bank reconciliations completed 100% monthly AR collections within agreed terms AP processed accurately and on time Accuracy and cleanliness of financial records across all entities Compensation & Structure Full time Competitive compensation based on experience Why This Role Matters This role is critical to creating financial clarity across multiple business entities. The Bookkeeper will serve as a trusted partner to ownership, ensuring the financial foundation is accurate, organized, and actionable. •This role will require a background check. You will also be required to sign an NDA and confidentiality agreement.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
