The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers). Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to terms. Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts. Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile daily cash receipts. Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable and receivable. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies accurately. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) specific to manufacturing modules. Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms) and multi-currency transactions. Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., CAPP) or Accounts Receivable (e.g., CARS).
