Job Description

Job Overview Depression Healing Clinic is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Booker/Finance Officer to oversee and manage the company's daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with ownership regarding daily financial activity and account management. The candidate will have a genuine passion for working in a mental health setting and is committed to helping individuals overcome depression and improve their overall well-being. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations Utilize QuickBooks Desktop Pro proficiently for accounting and financial management Generate and analyze financial reports Reconcile monthly bank statements Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time Process payroll liabilities and ensure compliance Prepare and pay quarterly taxes Manage Accounts Payable, including timely payment of bills and vendor obligations Manage Accounts Receivable, including posting ACH payments and making weekly bank deposits for received checks Monitor all company bank accounts and maintain accurate balances Maintain vendor accounts and related records Maintain company insurance records and documentation Maintain lease agreements and related files Collect tenant rent payments Organize and file receipts and financial documentation Maintain accurate record keeping and financial files Provide daily updates to ownership regarding account balances and financial activity Report directly to ownership on all financial matters Follow directives and complete additional financial tasks as requested by ownership Qualifications Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop Pro required Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management experience required Knowledge of payroll processing, tax payments, and bank reconciliations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism Excellent communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively Preferred Skills Experience managing multiple accounts and financial records Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities Professional demeanor and reliability Knowledge of accrual accounting Schedule Full-time Biweekly payroll processing schedule Work Location 1200 N West Ave, Suite #800 Jackson 49202 Compensation Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process with ownership.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
