Kalamazoo, MI Salary Range:

The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Generate customer invoices and process customer payments, applying them to the correct accounts. Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts. Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Recommended Qualifications Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations, particularly as they apply to manufacturing operations. Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts, including those involving raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
