Job Summary :
Be the finance partner who turns manufacturing and inventory data into clear, actionable insight. In this role, you'll deliver accurate, timely cost and inventory accounting that directly supports product costing, inventory valuation, and confident operational decisions. You'll take ownership of maintaining product cost data, bring the story behind the numbers to life through inventory and variance analysis, and help protect cost integrity in the ERP system. Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance—and supported by senior accounting leadership—you'll help solve real problems, improve how the business performs, and build a strong foundation for growth in your finance career.
Essential Job Functions :
Maintain and update product costing in the ERP system under guidance, including material, labor, and overhead components. Analyze and reconcile inventory balances. Prepare monthly inventory and variance analysis for review. Investigate and resolve inventory and cost variances in collaboration with Operations and Procurement. Ensure accurate inventory valuation and assist with standard cost updates, revaluations, and reserves. Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Assist with month-end close related to inventory and cost accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare routine cost and inventory reports to support internal reporting. Support audits by providing inventory and cost documentation. Identify trends and drivers impacting product costs and inventory results.
Qualifications :
Required Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field. One to three years of accounting, finance, or analytical experience, preferably in a manufacturing operation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Basic understanding of accounting and cost concepts.
