Job Description

Midwest Press & Automation LLC (MPA) is a fast-paced, rapidly growing company servicing the metal forming industry. We are looking for a full time Bookkeeper.
Requirements Preferred:
An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or business Or 3-5 years of experience in the field. Certifications -Certified Bookkeeper or Certified Public Bookkeeper preferred but not requirement Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets Understanding Quickbooks Online and ability to navigate in ERP systems Job Functions Record precise, daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and assist with inventory tracking Support payroll processing by calculating hours, tracking deductions, and issuing employee payments utilizing Paychex Prepare and maintain and organize financial reports, including cash transactions and expense tracking Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Maintain vendor and customer records, ensuring accuracy and completeness Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and discrepancies Assist with audits by providing requested documentation Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies Collaborate with management to track costs and support budget monitoring Benefits we offer: Medical, dental and vision plans 401(k) with a generous company match Paid vacation & holidays
