Job Description
Our company is a fast growing Franchise organization based in Madison Heights, MI. The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This is a vital role that will support the accounting department with daily financial tasks and ensure our records are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Perform routine administrative accounting duties, including data entry and maintaining financial records for both Corporate and individual locations. Process accounts payable, ensuring invoices and payments are accurate and timely. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in generating financial reports and summaries as needed for management. Help maintain organized and complete financial files. Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
