full-time Eckert Wordell (EW) is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our accounting, business administration, and human resources department. Headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, EW has been a healthcare architecture, interior design, and engineering design leader for more than 40 years. Joining our team means access to our competitive benefits package, including (but not limited to): Generous Vacation and Paid Holiday Schedule Health, Dental, Life, Disability, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401K Plan Employee Assistance Program Certification and Membership Support As an Accounting Assistant, you will Perform, under periodic supervision, a variety of routine accounting functions including: Process accounts payable checks Process monthly client invoices and statements Maintain COI files for consultants Process expense account data monthly Process timesheets weekly Record employee receivable charges Reconcile VISA statements and bank accounts Prepare and deliver bank deposits Assist with maintenance of subsidiary ledgers and spreadsheets Provide general assistance to the accounting, business administration, and human resources department and other duties as requested Qualifications Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; prefer 5+ years of experience Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a least 3 years of accounting experience; or an equivalent of education and experience
Salary:
$40,000-50,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.
