We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Title Funder / Accounting Specialist to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of funds, proper file balancing, and smooth closing operations. While prior title experience is a plus, candidates with strong accounting or financial backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Review closing packages for accuracy and completeness prior to funding Disburse funds in accordance with lender instructions and closing statements Balance and reconcile files to ensure all numbers align before and after closing Communicate with lenders, escrow officers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies Process wire transfers, checks, and payoffs with precision Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations Assist with post-closing processes and documentation as needed Track and manage multiple files simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. Qualifications Background in accounting, finance, or related field preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (this is non-negotiable) Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor Experience in title, escrow, or real estate transactions is a plus—but not required What We Offer Competitive salary ($55,000 - $65,000) Full benefits package (health, dental, vision) Paid Time Off (PTO) Stable, team-oriented work environment Opportunity for growth within a scaling company Potential for hybrid flexibility after training and proven performance
