Role Description The role is a full-time, on-site position based in Wixom, MI. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling accounts. The Bookkeeper will assist in preparing financial statements, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, working with accounting software to update ledgers, and generating reports for management. The role collaborates closely with finance and operations teams to provide timely, reliable financial information that supports business decision-making. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate recording of transactions and maintenance of general ledgers. Experience with financial statements and journal entries, with the ability to support closing and reporting processes. Proficiency in accounting software and basic finance concepts, with comfort using digital tools and spreadsheets. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Syteline Experience a plus
