Job Description

Position Summary Thousand Hills Lifetime Grazed is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk to support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing organization. This position is responsible for processing customer invoices, managing collections activities, entering and paying vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments while supporting the company's mission of nourishing soil, plants, cattle, and people through regenerative agriculture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accounts Receivable
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.
  • Process customer payments received through checks, ACH, wire transfers, and electronic payment platforms.
  • Apply payments to customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and conduct collection activities on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain customer account records and aging schedules.
  • Review deductions, short pays, and chargebacks and coordinate resolution with customers and internal teams.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing issues.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports. Accounts Payable
  • Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation when applicable.
  • Maintain vendor files, W-9 documentation, and payment records.
  • Prepare weekly accounts payable check runs and electronic payments.
  • Monitor payment due dates and ensure timely processing of obligations.
  • Resolve vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with annual 1099 preparation and reporting requirements. Accounting & Financial Support
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Assist with inventory, purchasing, and operational accounting activities as needed.
  • Prepare reports and analyses requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls. Administrative Support
  • Monitor finance department email inboxes and route inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain electronic and physical accounting files.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, customer service, and procurement teams to resolve financial issues. QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support experience preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, distribution, or consumer packaged goods environments is a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Primarily office-based with occasional interaction with warehouse, production, and operational staff.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds of files, records, or office supplies. Benefits

Pay:
$44,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
