Ready to launch your accounting career? We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a growing organization where you'll gain hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end accounting functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while working alongside experienced finance professionals. You'll receive training, mentorship, and exposure to multiple areas of accounting that can help accelerate your career toward Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Financial Analyst, or Accounting Manager positions in the future.
No previous accounting experience, internship, or public accounting background is required. We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
What You'll Be DoingProcess vendor invoices and ensure timely payment of suppliersAssist with accounts receivable activities, including customer payments and account researchReconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accountsHelp prepare journal entries and support month-end close activitiesReview financial transactions for accuracy and proper codingMaintain accounting records and supporting documentationResearch and resolve invoice, payment, and accounting discrepanciesAssist with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis projectsSupport audits by gathering requested documentationWork collaboratively with operations, sales, customer service, and leadership teamsLearn and utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to manage financial dataParticipate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy
