Accounting Specialist Location:
South Metro Twin Cities, MN (Onsite)Salary:
Up to $75,000 DOE Our client, a growing company in the South Metro, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. This position is an opportunity to get in on the ground-floor and position yourself for internal future career growth. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions (ie invoicing, credit cards, bank reconciliations, etc.) Assist in ensuring timely and accurate month-end reporting Support project lifecycles, including front end set-up, invoicing, and making adjustments as scope/billing changes Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are accurate and complete Contribute to year-end audit preparation, including gathering schedules, invoices, contracts, and other supporting documents Follow up on missing receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation Help improve accounting processes and procedures as the company grows Pitch in across departments to help support your fellow teams, encouraging strong collaboration Qualifications 2+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing/construction industry experience strongly preferred Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close Self-starter who can work independently and improve processes Strong communication and organizational skills Benefits 401(k) with employer contribution Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Generous PTO and company-paid holiday closures Casual work environment Flexible scheduling Long-term growth potential as the company continues to expand All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
