Job Description

What you will be doing Ensure all financial areas of the hotel, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Night Audit, and Payroll are all administered appropriately and effectively. Ensure proper controls are in place and monitored throughout the hotel to maximize profits or minimize losses by retaining revenues, reducing expenses and safeguarding hotel assets. Ensure that efficient and accurate budget preparation with the full involvement of department heads is obtained. Work with Controller to accurately complete payroll preparation, bi-weekly overtime report, bi-weekly tip allocation report and distribute bi-weekly payroll checks to department heads. What we are looking for Strong business communication skills verbal and written Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel Accounting functions High work ethic and self-initiative Ability to complete complex financial accounting calculations and analysis May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property Focus and maintain attention to multiple tasks in a short time period, and complete work assignments within deadline demands, despite frequent interruptions Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests! Physical Requirements (In-Office Role) Ability to work in a standard office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day) Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday. Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items. Ability to lift and/or move 10â€"25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies). Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
