Office Admin/Bookkeeper Bozeman, MT A well-established local accounting firm provides personalized tax and financial services to individuals and businesses throughout the Gallatin Valley is seeking an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper. Starting Wage:
$20 to $25/hour depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through
Friday Essential Functions and Duties:
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for clients, maintaining accurate and organized financial records Manage accounts payable and receivable, including bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare financial, payroll, quarterly, and year-end reports and assist with tax preparation Use QuickBooks and other accounting software to review records, resolve discrepancies, and complete cleanup projects Provide professional client support by answering phones, responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing documents Assist with general office administration, including filing, scanning, correspondence, confidential records, and team support during busy periods
Qualifications:
Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort working with numbers and financial information Experience with QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills Professional communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Get in touch!
