Job Description

A top CPA firm in the area is looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a team of highly motivated staff.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintain financial records and documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and process payroll for employees.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvements.
Position Essential Job Functions:
  • Proficiently use accounting software and tools to accurately record and process financial transactions.
  • Perform data entry and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial information.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any accounting-related issues.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications Include:
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Associates degree in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service High stress tolerance
