Job Description
Sampson-Bladen Oil Company is seeking a qualified, motivated and driven individual to join our Accounting team. Essential Functions Read and understand fuel bills of lading and invoices Input bills of lading and supplier invoices into the account system Invoice fuel customers using the accounting system Review delivery documents and invoices for accuracy Respond to fuel customers and questions as needed Assist Controller and Assistant Controller as needed Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and accounting software programs. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong time management skills Able to adapt to changes in work processes Able to work under deadlines Must be able to work in a team environment 2-year college degree preferred or equivalent accounting experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
