Accounting Clerk LHH US High Point, NC Job Details $50,000 - $60,000 a year 4 hours ago Qualifications Organizational skills Communication skills Entry level Time management Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support the daily operations of one of our excellent Triad clients. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, maintaining financial records, assisting with reconciliations, and providing administrative support to the accounting team. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments. Generate customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Prepare and post journal entries as directed. Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies. Process employee expense reports and reimbursements. Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues. Organize and maintain accounting files and records. Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed. Support special projects and other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance; Bachelors degree preferred. 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience preferred. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
