Take Ownership Of:

The Accounts Payable Specialist position plays an important role in the financial stability of Acme Tools.

This position is responsible for:

Reviewing, matching and processing purchase orders, invoices, and statements for payment Identifying, investigating, and resolving vendor account discrepancies Coding, verifying, and entering invoices Additional duties within the Corporate Accounting department Weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues Performing other related duties as assigned

Need-To-Haves:

Exceptional attention to detail, data input, and accuracy Strong technology skills; Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information Ability to work with a high level of autonomy as well as being a team player Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally

Love-To-Haves:

Associates Degree in Accounting, related field OR equivalent experience Prior direct accounts payable experience, including purchase order matching and disbursements to vendors Employment offers are contingent on drug-screen and background check.
