Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our chiropractic office team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and patient accounts. In this vital role, you will manage a variety of accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and billing. The ideal candidate is passionate about precision, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong technical accounting skills. Duties Maintain and update the general ledger using Chirotouch accounting software (training provided). Perform bank deposits and account analysis to ensure accuracy across all financial accounts Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation regularly to verify data integrity Generate detailed financial reports, including patient account statements and balance sheets. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role Proficiency in popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft word and Microsoft excel Strong understanding of financial concepts including account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliation, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
