Job Description

Overview The Accounting Clerk is responsible for, but not limited to, daily store reconciliations, sales order reporting, and phone and email communication with surrounding locations and internal departments. Bosselman offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through: Responsibilities Records, reconciles, and balances all sales transactions in JD Edwards for various divisions including Shops, Travel Centers, Motels, and Food Services. Assembles, sorts, and reconciles retail sales (cash and charge) to bank deposits and company receivables. Processes daily deposits, including organizing checks and cash receipts accurately. Supports accounts payable by reconciling statements, assisting with tasks, and updating vendor information. Maintains monthly cash on hand reconciliations. Sorts, files, and retain sales and accounting records per company policy. Works with locations to address questions, concerns, and issues regarding sales transactions and procedures.
Provides backup support for:
Receptionist and incoming corporate calls. Fleet vehicle checkout and maintenance tracking. Mailroom operations (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.). Office supply and breakroom inventory management. Community room scheduling and hospitality. Keeping the lobby clean and welcoming. Greet and assist clients and customers professionally at the corporate office. Ensures confidentiality of company and client information. Communicates courteously and professionally with co-workers, management, clients, and customers. Upholds a professional image and contribute to a positive work environment. Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed): High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; with one to two years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 key skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized and have strong problem solving skills. Ability to meet assigned deadlines. Microsoft Excel experience preferred. Knowledge of JD Edwards software preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. –

Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service. Must be highly detail oriented and organized in work.
