POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the timely, accurate submission and follow-up of primary and secondary claims for commercial, federal, and self-pay lines of business in support of the Business Office and agency operating divisions. Ensures accounts receivable functions comply with CMHC He-M standards, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, payer requirements, and agency policies governing fiscal integrity, documentation, and confidentiality.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Account Maintenance &; Authorization Support

Compliance Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in medical billing or related healthcare administrative role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in computerized billing systems and above-average keyboarding skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including basic Excel skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) setting.
- Knowledge of New Hampshire Medicaid and He-M standards.
- Experience with EMR/practice management systems and electronic clearinghouse platforms.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing.
