Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team. Responsibilities Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation when applicable Enter invoices into the accounting system and assist with payment processing (check, ACH, wire) Help resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner Maintain accurate vendor records and filing documentation Assist with accounts payable reconciliations and month-end close tasks Support audits and special projects as needed Look for opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Qualifications High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred 0-2 years of accounts payable, accounting, or relevant administrative experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of accounting principles (or a willingness to learn) Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
