Accounting Reports to: Accounting Manager About the Role We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department in Carlstadt, NJ. This position supports the Accounting Manager with day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, payment processing, invoice verification, and general administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting support experience, is comfortable communicating with customers about past-due balances, and takes pride in maintaining accurate and organized financial records. This is an on-site position in Carlstadt, NJ. Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due balances at the direction of the Accounting Manager. Accept and document customer payments by phone, payment portal, and ACH. Track customer payment commitments and follow up on missed commitments. Escalate disputes, short payments, and hardship requests to the Accounting Manager. Maintain accurate records of customer payment activity and communications. Accounts Payable Review vendor invoices and supporting documentation against purchase orders and receiving documents. Enter approved vendor payments. Maintain organized AP files for multiple entities. Route invoices and other items requiring approval to the Accounting Manager. Ensure
