full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper Company Overview We are a small, family-owned manufacturing company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role working closely with company leadership and supporting the financial needs of the business. Job may be titled Accounting Manager or Controller Key Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and bank reconciliations . Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements and management reports . Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records and related filings. Monitor customer accounts, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding receivables. Process vendor invoices, payments, and maintain vendor records. Assist with month-end and year-end close , including account reconciliations and journal entries. Support inventory, job costing, and other accounting activities related to manufacturing operations. Prepare information and schedules for the company's CPA, tax filings, and year-end financial reporting . Maintain organized and accurate financial records and assist management with accounting-related questions and analysis. Qualifications 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small business or manufacturing environment . Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting. Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and manage competing priorities. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
