Role Description We're seeking a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper to support our wholesale apparel operations in New York, NY. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end close, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has direct experience working with factoring. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks (AP/AR, expenses, deposits, credit cards, bank activity) Process journal entries and ensure clean, consistent transaction coding Perform weekly/monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) Support wholesale workflows: customer invoicing, collections support, vendor bills, returns/allowances as needed Work with factoring platforms: reconcile factor statements, track advances/reserves/fees, apply cash receipts, and resolve discrepancies Organize documentation for CPA review, audits, and internal reporting Collaborate with internal teams to keep billing and financial data accurate and on-time Qualifications Must have QuickBooks experience (Online or Desktop) Must have experience working with factoring (advances, reserves/holdbacks, fees, reconciliations) Strong understanding of bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial statements Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent accuracy Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) Ability to work full-time, on-site, in a collaborative team environment Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred Benefits 401(k) + company match Up to 15 days paid vacation 5 paid sick days Major federal holidays off Office events
Pay Range:
$60,000 to $90,000
