Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations for a company based in Mount Holly, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing invoice activity and billing-related tasks in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will contribute to accurate financial processing while partnering with internal teams to keep accounts and documentation up to date.
Responsibilities:
- Review, enter, and process vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with freight-related billing activities, including preparing charges, verifying details, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for payables and receivables transactions.
- Reconcile invoice and billing information against internal records to ensure completeness and correctness.
- Support daily accounting operations by updating information in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to clarify payment, billing, and account questions.
- Help monitor outstanding items and follow up on open invoice or billing issues to support timely resolution.
