Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the organization's financial health. Your expertise will help streamline accounting processes, facilitate precise reporting, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry of transactions into various accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Prepare journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping records, and account analysis reports Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify the integrity of financial statements Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Generate detailed financial reports, including budgets, financial statements, and other documentation necessary for internal review or external audits Skills Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial management tools Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, non-profit accounting practices, and public accounting standards Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis, budgeting, and report writing Knowledge of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes Ability to interpret financial concepts related to debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and account analysis Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable/receivable management Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Join us as a Bookkeeper to bring precision to our financial operations while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Pay:
