Job Description

Overview We are looking for an individual with a background in Accounts Receivables as well as some finance knowledge. The primary focus will be on maintaining AR with other finance duties to help fill the needs of the finance department. College degree a plus but not required. Excel skills are a must. This individual would also be support to the front office under the direction of the CFO. Responsibilities Post Cash Receipts daily for AR Sending out invoices weekly to customers, follow up on payment with phone calls and emails Type up sales orders for main company and secondary company Help maintain books and records for secondary company Submit all required DOT trucking reports, registrations and licenses Help CFO and Finance department in management data analysis by preparing reports as needed Support the CFO in administrative duties to run front office And other duties as assigned Qualifications 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data reporting. Experience posting cash receipts, processing invoices, and managing customer accounts. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Experience following up on outstanding payments through phone calls and email correspondence. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions. Ability to prepare reports and assist with financial analysis. Professional communication and customer service skills. Experience handling administrative and office support responsibilities. Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar systems is preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
